Development and Management of Supranational Law Reports
This course is designed to provide practical and actionable knowledge on managing law reporting at a law producing institution. This course will cover the requirements related to the law reporting process and its management; identifying factors of relevance for selection of cases; and reviewing the legal, editorial and procedural issues that affect the curation of law reports. Effective law reporting presupposes not only a good understanding of past and present law relating to the subject- or institution-specific domain so as to produce informative and accurate law reports, but also a good grasp of strategic and management practices relating to law reporting.
This course is created specifically with African regional courts in mind and will include a comparative element with practices at other regional and international courts.
